Blessed

When I started this blog I promised myself I would use it. But as you can see, I haven't been very good at that...I have a blog elsewhere that I write on nearly everyday, so keeping up with this one seems too daunting of a task. I AM going to try harder though.

With all that said, guess who is now the proud Mama of a 1 year old??? That would be me. :) I am so blessed by this little man.




Every single day he makes me want to do better. Be better. Learn more. Strive harder. He is my inspiration. My sunshine on a cloudy day. I know, I know... sounds so cliche... but it's so true. Words cannot describe how blessed I am to call him mine and how thankful I am to the Lord for him.

The Hubby Quiz :-)

A few of my facebook friends started doing these so I thought I would join in and share a little about the most amazing man I know!

1. He's sitting in front of the TV, what is on the screen? He loves any crime show and also loves chick flicks which he proudly admits! I love that about him. :) I never have to "beg" him to watch a girly movie with me!

2. You're out to eat; what kind of dressing does he get on his salad? He orders ranch on his salad because he knows it's my favorite-- he always gives his salad to me!

3. What's one food he doesn't like? He's not a fruit eater AT ALL. The odd thing is that he likes almost every kind of fruit juice known to man... but hates the actual fruit?!

4. You go out to eat and have a drink. What does he order? Sweet tea!

5. Where did he go to high school? WCC

6. What size shoe does he wear? 12

7. If he was to collect anything, what would it be? Guns, cell phones, and/or car parts. Haha!

8. What is his favorite type of sandwich? Ham, cheese, mustard, and pickles.

9. What would this person eat every day if he could? Steak!

10. What is his favorite cereal? He doesn't really like cereal. Every once in a while he will eat honey grahams but that's very rare!

11. What would he never wear? Skinny jeans! LOL.

12. What is his favorite sports team? He doesn't watch sports...which is yet another thing I love about him!

13. Who did he vote for? He didn't vote-- in his opinion neither were worth voting for. I have to agree.

14. Who is his best friend? Me! :) Guy friend: Brian

15. What is something you do that he wishes you wouldn't do? Move something of his to a new place (usually the RIGHT place) in the house. He always accuses me of "throwing it away" when I move things... and then he finds them (or I point them out) and he apologizes. & Then the process repeats the next time he is looking for something... ;)

Our little man...

Our Christmas was extra special this year because we were able to share it with this awesome little guy. He isn't big enough to understand it or even enjoy it (though he certainly looks like he is in the picture!) but we will never ever forget it. Our first Christmas as a family!

It's hard to believe that he's two months old today. It just doesn't seem real. Time is flying and he is growing up right before our eyes... it makes this Mama a little sad. I just want to hold him in my arms and keep him little forever... but we all know it doesn't work that way. The time will come (all too soon!) when he doesn't want his Mama to hug him & snuggle him anymore...



but for right now I'm soaking it up.
